Books were determined by the criterion \rsampling method. Accordingly, the criterion was that \rthe elected books were published between 2015-\r2019, that they were proper for 3-6 age group of \rchildren. 40 randomly selected books which supply \rthe criteria from 173 books examined by online \rcatalog scanning of publishers were included in the \rstudy. The data were recorded in the Book Imprint \rForm and Checklist. In this research, document \ranalysis was carried out and the data was analyzed \rwith content analysis. As a result of the research, ıt \rwas found that the internal state words were used in \rthe texts in the picture storybooks. While the words \rof internal state in the categories of perception and \remotion/affect were frequently used, it was found \rthat the category that was used the least was moral/ \robligation. Another finding is that 24 of 40 picture \rstorybooks examined include an object or person that \rcan not be seen by the character.
