The central problem of the research is how eroticism functions as a tool that reveals the unconscious in Dalí's surrealist works. The article bases its theoretical framework on Freud's concepts of the unconscious, libido, and repression, as well as on the paranoiac-critical method developed by Dalí. It employs iconographic analysis and psychoanalytic theory to examine five of Dalí's major works (The Great Masturbator, 1929; Dream Caused by the Flight of a Bee, 1944; Jeune Vierge Autosodomisée, 1954; Leda Atomica, 1949; Metamorphosis of Narcissus, 1937) are subjected to iconographic analysis and psychoanalytic interpretation. The original contribution of the study is to reveal that eroticism is a tool that enables the visualisation of both individual fantasy and collective taboos in Dalí's unconscious images, and in this context, how surrealist aesthetics and psychoanalytic theory feed into each other.Bu makale, sanat tarihi ve psikanalitik teori disiplinlerini kesiştiren bir perspektifle Salvador Dalí'nin resimlerinde erotizmin bilinçdışı imgelerini incelemeyi amaçlamaktadır. Araştırmanın temel problemi, Dalí'nin sürrealist eserlerinde erotizmin bilinçdışını açığa çıkaran bir araç olarak nasıl işlev gördüğüdür. Makale, kuramsal çerçevesini Freud'un bilinçdışı, libido ve bastırma kavramları ile Dalí'nin geliştirdiği paranoyak-kritik yöntem üzerine kurmaktadır.
