Bu şairlerin bir kısmı divan edebiyatı bir kısmı halk edebiyatı ve bir kısmı da modern edebiyat bünyesinde şiirlerini icra etmişlerdir. Özellikle Osmanlı döneminde, bazı Trabzonlu şairler dönemin şiir anlayışı sebebiyle şiirlerinde sık sık Arapça, Farsça kelimelere ve terkiplere başvurmuşlardır. Cumhuriyet dönemine doğru gidildikçe, özellikle milli edebiyat anlayışı ile şiirler yazılsa da şairler şiirlerinde yer yer Arapça kelimelere yer vermişlerdir. Günümüzde ise belli başlı şairler, şiirlerinde Arapça unsurlar bulundurmaktadır. Bu unsurlar Arapça isim, fiil ve eklerden, sıfat ve tamlamalardan oluşmaktadır. Bu çalışmada şiirlerinde Arapça unsurlar tespit edilen Trabzonlu şairlerin öncelikle biyografileri verilmiş daha sonra örnek dizeler doğrultusunda şiirlerindeki Arapça kelimeler, tamlamalar ve diğer unsurlar değerlendirilmiştir. Söz konusu şairlerin biyografileri ve şiirleri literatür taraması ile çeşitli kaynaklardan temin edilmiş Arapça kelimelerin anlamları Türkçe ve Arapça sözlükler kullanılarak açıklanmıştır.Trabzon is one of the unique cities where a wide range of poets have lived from past to present. While a part of these poets performed their poetry within the scope of divan literature, a part of them performed it within the scope of folk literature and some within the scope of modern literature. During the Ottoman period in particular, specific poets of Trabzon often used Arabic and Persian words and compositions due to the sense of poetry during that era. Although poetry was performed particularly with a sense of national literature toward the Republic period, poets sometimes used Arabic words in their poems. Today, on the other hand, specific poets use Arabic elements in their poems. These elements comprise of Arabic names, verbs, prefixes, adjectives and noun phrases. In this study, the biographies of the poets of Trabzon who gave place to Arabic elements in their poems were primarily discussed and then Arabic words, noun phrases and other elements in their poems were evaluated in line with example verses.
