In this study, a case study from qualitative research designs was used. Interview forms were used as data collection tools in the study. The data obtained after the interviews were reflected in the research results using content analysis. It was observed that creative drama activities were effective on the 5th grade "Culture and Heritage" learning area of social studies lesson. It was determined in the student views that the creative drama method increased the interest, excitement, participation and interaction between the students. Some suggestions have been made in the light of the findings.Bu araştırmanın amacı, ortaokul 5. sınıf sosyal bilgiler dersinde 'Kültür ve Miras' öğrenme alanının öğretiminde kullanılan yaratıcı drama yöntemine göre hazırlanan etkinliklerin öğrenci görüşlerine yansımasını tespit etmektir. Çalışmanın örneklemini ortaokul 5. sınıf seviyesindeki 33 öğrenci oluşturmaktadır. Bu araştırmada nitel araştırma desenlerinden durum çalışması kullanılmıştır. Araştırmada veri toplama aracı olarak görüşme formları kullanılmıştır. Yapılan görüşmelerin ardından elde edilen veriler içerik analizi kullanılarak araştırma sonuçlarına yansıtılmıştır. Yaratıcı drama etkinliklerinin, sosyal bilgiler dersi 5. sınıf "Kültür ve Miras" öğrenme alanı konularında etkili olduğu görülmüştür. Bununla birlikte öğrenci görüşlerinde yaratıcı drama yönteminin derse olan ilgiyi, heyecanı, katılımı ve öğrenciler arasındaki etkileşimi artırdığı belirlenmiştir.
