dc.description.abstractDevletler siyasî, askerî, ticarî ve sosyal alanlardaki girişimlerini elçiler vasıtası ile yürütmektedir. Mihmandar adı verilen saray görevlileri tarafından karşılanan elçilerin, huzura kabul edilmesi, ağırlanması ve uğurlanmasında bir takım protokol kuralları uygulanmaktadır. Türkiye Selçuklu Devleti'nin sahip olduğu coğrafî konum, siyasî ve askerî güç, komşu devletlerle temas halinde olmasına zemin oluşturdu. Selçuklu sultanları ve sultanlar adına elçiler, tahta çıkış, ölüm, evlilik akdi, ittifak sağlanması, savaş, sulh ve ticarî faaliyetler gibi birçok gerekçe ile görüşme gerçekleştirdi. Türkiye Selçuklu Devleti'nde bu görüşmelerin büyük bir çoğunluğu elçiler vasıtasıyla yapılmaktaydı. Bu görüşmelerde protokol kuralları her zaman aynı olmayıp devletlerle olan münasebetlerin seyrine göre değişiklik göstermekteydi. Elçinin hediyesini sunması ve mesajını iletmesi ile görüşmeler başlardı. Bu görüşmeler sırasında devletin gücünü göstermek adına gösterişli karşılama törenleri, ziyafet ve eğlenceler düzenlenirken hediyeler de sunulmaktaydı. Bu çalışmada Türkiye Selçuklu Devleti'ne gelen ve Selçuklu Devleti tarafından gönderilen elçilerin karşılanması, ağırlanması ve huzura kabullerine dair nasıl bir yol izlendiği incelenecektiren_US
dc.description.abstractStates carry out their political, military, commercial and social initiatives through ambassadors. There are some protocols about seeing, hosting and bidding farewell for the ambassadors who are welcomed by the palace officials called hosts. The geographical location, military and political power of Turkish Seljuq Empire prepared a basis for keeping in touch with the neighbouring states. Seljuq sultans and the ambassadors on behalf of the sultans have many meetings for reasons of ascending the throne, death, marriage, alliance, war, peace and commercial activities. Most of these meeting in Turkish Seljuq Empire have been carried out by the ambassadors. The protocol rules in these meetings are not always the same and they change according to the relations with the other states. The meetings start with ambassador’s presenting his gift and delivering the message. During these meetings, ostentatious welcoming ceremonies, feasts and entertainments have been organized and gifts have been presented. In this study, what kind of protocol rules have been followed about the welcoming, hosting and seeing of the ambassadors who have visited Turkish Seljuq Empire and those who have been sent by the Seljuq Empire will be analyzeden_US
