Problems encountered by teachers working as an authorized principal related with economic and school management [Müdür yetkili sınıf öğretmenlerinin karşılaştıkları ekonomik ve okul işletmesiyle ilgili sorunlar]
Abstract
Not only aim of this research is to reveal difficulties related with economical and school management encountered by teachers working as an authorized principal in combination classes, but also to find solutions based on teachers working as an authorized principal views to this kind of problems. In this study, qualitative research method was used. Interview form was used as a part of qualitative research method. The sample of this study consists of totally 31 teachers working as an authorized principal lecturing at combination class in Çaldıran district of Van province. Criterion sampling and convenience sampling was used while reaching participants. Teachers working as an authorized principal mentioned that schools didn’t receive appropriation and even if schools received, appropriation they receive wasn’t for school needs but maintenance. In order to solve economic problems, the teachers suggested additional appropriation from MEB. Teachers working as an authorized principal, who have duties such as teaching, managing, consulting, guiding, official staff, employee etc., need material and moral support from MEB to succeed. MEB should give additional appropriation for these schools. © 2017, Ankara University. All rights reserved.
