Öğe Analysis of the Studies Using Concept Cartoons in Science Education in Turkey(Bayburt University, 2025) Aci, Duygu; Ergün, AyşegülConcept cartoons are one of the visual tools used in concept learning, determination and elimination of misconceptions in science education. In this study, it was aimed to analyze the studies in which concept cartoons were used in science education in Turkey in terms of different variables. In the study conducted using descriptive method, 44 theses and 25 articles published between 2007 and 2023 were analyzed by document analysis. As a result of the research, it was determined that the most studies were carried out in universities in the Aegean region. It was determined that quantitative research method was frequently used in the studies, the studies were frequently carried out with seventh grade students, the preferred sample size was 31-100, and the most used data collection tool was the academic achievement test. It was concluded that the most used learning area was physical events, the most used independent variable was "concept cartoon" and the most used dependent variable was "achievement". In the light of the findings obtained from the research, suggestions were made to the researchers.
