Öğe EXAMINING THE CORPORATE SOCIAL RESPONSIBILITIES OF SPORTS CLUBS AS PERCEIVED BY FANS(Yusuf ARSLAN, 2024) Keleş, Furkan; Adatepe, EdaThis research was conducted to examine the Corporate Social Responsibilities of sports clubs perceived by fans based on different variables. The research follows a general survey model. The population of the study consists of the fans aged 18 and above from the four major sports clubs (Beşiktaş, Fenerbahçe, Galatasaray, Trabzonspor). A total of 1,310 fans, 709 males and 601 females, voluntarily participated in the study. Research data were collected through a questionnaire and the analysis was done with SPSS 24 program. The findings show that there were no significant differences in any scales or sub-dimensions in the t-test performed regarding gender variable. On the other hand, in variance analyses, statistically significant differences were revealed in scale and all its sub-dimensions according to the variables of education level, level of commitmen to the team, number of matches watched in a season, and perceived socio-economic level. A statistically significant difference was found only in the economic responsibility sub-dimension in the variable of the sports club of the fans. In the correlation analysis conducted with the age variable, weak negative relationships were found in the legal responsibility and ethical responsibility sub-dimensions and age. As a result, it was determined that the variables of education level, level of commitment to the team, number of matches watched in a season, perceived socio-economic level, age, and the sports club of the fans affect and differentiate the perceived corporate social responsibilities of the fans. It is suggested that projects, awareness programs, and education related to corporate social responsibility aimed at football club fans would be beneficial for the sports public.Öğe Investigation of Sports Sciences Students' Attitudes Towards Globalization(Hasan ŞAHAN, 2023) Adatepe, EdaThis study was conducted in order to examine the opinions of students studying in the field of sports sciences at state universities about the effects of globalization in sports sciences with various variables. The questionnaire used to collect data in the research consists of a personal information form and the Scale of Sports Science Students' Views on the Effects of Globalization. In the analysis of the data, descriptive statistics, normality tests, independent groups t test, one-way analysis of variance (ANOVA), Levene test for homogeneity of variances, Scheffe, Tamhane "T2 tests for pairwise comparisons and Spearman correlation analysis for relationship analysis were used. In addition, point biserial correlation analysis was also used. In the findings; In the independent groups conducted with the gender variable, it was determined that there was significant differentiation only in the "Learning and Teaching Process" sub-dimension of the scale of views on the effects of globalization in sports sciences. In the female students' views", it is seen that they have a higher average. In the analysis of variance with the class variable, it was seen that there was a significant difference in the "Management" and "Technology" sub-dimensions, while there "was no significant difference in the "Learning and Teaching Process" sub-dimension. There is a statistically significant difference between" students' satisfaction levels with the effects of globalization and the mean scores they received from the scale sub-dimensions in general and in all sub-dimensions of the scale. With Spearman correlation analysis, positive but weak significant relationships were found between personal income and scale sub-dimensions. Point biserial correlation analysis, students' views in the (low &high socioeconomic level) groups explained 38.19% of the change in the total score. It is thought that the studies to be carried out for individuals in different universities, sports education institutions and other areas of the sports sector will contribute more broadly to this discussion.Öğe Investigation of the Relationships between Personality Traits and Self-Perceptions of Leadership Behaviors of Faculty of Sport Sciences Students(2024) Bulut, Adem; Karataş, İsmail; Adatepe, EdaThis research was conducted to examine the relationships between the personality traits of students of Faculty of Sports Sciences at Bayburt University and their self-perceptions of leadership behaviors. In this context, consistent with the purpose of the quantitative study, the relational screening model was used. The sample of the study consists of a total of 451 students of the Faculty of Sports Sciences, including 188 women and 263 men. Convenience sampling method was used in selecting the research group. A survey form was used as a data collection tool and this form consists of three parts. The first part of this survey form includes \"Personal Information Form\", the second part includes \"Undergraduate Students' Self-Perceptions of Leadership Behaviors Scale\", and the third part includes \"Turkish Big Five Personality Scale\". First, descriptive statistics of the raw data obtained through this form were calculated, taking into account the data type. Correlation and regression analyzes were conducted on the data obtained in the study. As a result, it was determined that there were significant relationships between the participants' personality traits and their self-perceptions of leadership behaviors, and it was understood that these personality traits were effective on their self-perceptions of leadership behaviors.Öğe Keys to female athlete performance in Paris 2024(Frontiers Media Sa, 2026) Boz, Emre; Adatepe, Eda; Celik, Husniye; Kirkbir, Hakan; Oktem, Tuncay; Unlu, Yilmaz; Yilmaz, BusraThe research was conducted to identify the key factors influencing the performance of Turkish female athletes participating in the Paris 2024 Olympic Games. In this context, seven female Olympic athletes who participated in the relevant organization volunteered to take part in the research. A semi-structured interview form prepared by the researchers was used to identify the participants' views on the factors affecting their performance. Individual interviews were conducted with each participant at different times, and all interviews were recorded. All interview transcripts obtained were analyzed and visualized using MAXQDA 2020 software. In the study, the experiences of female athletes were grouped under five themes: factors most affecting performance, environmental factors, physiological factors, socio-cultural factors, and psychological factors. The findings show that the athletes' experiences are not limited to athletic performance alone, but are also influenced by multidimensional factors such as organizational shortcomings, environmental conditions, psychological pressure, socio-cultural interactions, and physiological conditions. In the study, first-time participants were positively influenced by motivation, team support, and communication with foreign athletes, while experienced athletes, having higher expectations, criticized factors such as organizational shortcomings, hygiene, and nutrition issues. The study reveals that the factors affecting the performance of female athletes are multidimensional and interactive, emphasizing the importance of comprehensively considering physiological, psychological, environmental, and socio-cultural needs in the planning of international sports organizations. In particular, strengthening health support, nutrition services, cultural adaptation, and social support mechanisms are recommended as measures that will increase athletes' performance and experience satisfaction.Öğe Sürdürülebilir Etkinlik Farkındalık Ölçeğinin Geliştirilmesi: Geçerlilik ve Güvenilirlik Çalışması(2022) Adatepe, Eda; Kolayiş, HakanBu araştırma spor etkinliklerine katılan bireylerin sürdürülebilir etkinlik farkındalıklarını ölçen bir ölçme aracı geliştirmek amacı ile yapılmıştır. Literatür, uzman görüşü ve saha çalışanları ile madde havuzu oluşturulmuştur. Bu araştırma grubu, ulusal ve uluslararası spor etkinliklerine katılmış, Türkiye’deki antrenör, sporcu, beden eğitimi ve spor öğretmeni, hakem, idari kadrolarda yer alan spor yöneticileri ve teknik kadro çalışanlarından oluşmuştur. Bu araştırmaya 812 gönüllü birey katılmıştır. Veriler Google Forms ile toplanmıştır. Genel tarama modeline göre desenlenmiş, betimsel bir çalışmadır.“Sürdürülebilir Etkinlik Farkındalık Ölçeği” (SEFÖ) adı verilen ölçme aracı için açımlayıcı ve doğrulayıcı faktör analizleri yapılmıştır. Bu kapsamda yapısal geçerlik ölçütleri sağlanmış ve 24 madde ölçme aracının son halini oluşturmuştur. Ölçme aracı destek, performans değerlendirme, sistem yapısı ve süreçler boyutlarını içeren toplam 4 alt boyuttan oluşmaktadır. Ölçme aracının geneli bağlamında Cronbach Alpha iç tutarlık katsayısı .936 tespit edilerek ölçme aracının güvenilir olduğu ve dört faktörlü yapıda olan ölçme aracının tüm alt boyutlarında hedeflenen özellikleri ölçtüğü ve geçerli olduğu sonucuna ulaşılmıştır. Sonuç olarak geliştirme çalışması yapılan bu ölçek, araştırmanın amacına uygun olarak ölçmek istenilen özellikleri ölçen geçerli ve güvenilir bir ölçek olarak kullanılabilir.Öğe The Examination of Amateur Footballers' Attitudes Towards Healthy Nutrition(Hasan ŞAHAN, 2022) Adatepe, Eda; Çelik, HüsniyeIn this study, it is aimed to examine the attitudes of amateur footballers affiliated to Sakarya Amateur Sports Clubs Federalini towards healthy nutrition in terms of different variables. Personal information form prepared by the researchers and Attitude Scale towards Healthy Eating were used for data collection in the study. Descriptive statistics and normality test were used. Among the parametric tests in normally distributed data, "T-test" to determine the differentiation between two different independent variables and scale sub-dimensions, and "Analysis of Variance (ANOVA)" test to determine the differentiation between scale sub-dimensions with more than two different variables, Scheffe test in pairwise comparisons. Pearson correlation analysis was used to analyze the relationship between age, personal income and athlete age variables and sub-dimensions. Bunun için çalışmada literatür taraması yöntemi kullanılmıştır. Türk spor yönetiminin tarihini oluşturan kurumlardan, Beden Terbiyesi Genel Müdürlüğü-BTGM (1938-1989), Gençlik ve Spor Genel Müdürlüğü-GSGM (1989-2011), Gençlik ve Spor Bakanlığı-GSB (2011-devam), Spor Genel MüdürlüğüSGM (2011-2018) ve Spor Hizmetleri Genel MüdürlüğüSHGM'nün (2018-devam) örgüt yapıları ile birbirinin devamı olan bu yapıların arasındaki farklılıklar ve benzerlikler ortaya konulmaya çalışılmıştır. 1938 sonrası ve onu izleyen dönemlerde (GSGM, SGM, GSB, SHGM) kamu örgütünde sporun merkeziyetçi bir anlayışla ele alındığı görülmektedir. Ülke kamu yönetiminin genelinde görülen bürokrasi ve hantallığın, spor yönetim yapısını ve hizmetin gerçekleştirilmesini olumsuz etkilediği söylenebilir. Son yıllarda siyasi ve ekonomik olarak dünyanın hızlı bir değişime uğraması, bilim ve teknolojideki gelişmelerle birlikte ihtiyaç ve beklentilerin farklılaşması ile insana ve yaşam standartlarına verilen önem de bir o kadar artmıştır. Bu nedenle ülkemiz açısından da geleceği de öngörebilen bir spor yönetimi anlayışının oluşturulması önem kazanmaktadır.Öğe Yerel Yönetimlerde Spor Yoluyla Sürdürülebilir Kalkınma: Kocaeli Büyükşehir Belediye Kağıtspor Çalışması(Kocaeli Büyükşehir Belediyesi, 2023) Adatepe, Eda; Kolayiş, HakanDaha sürdürülebilir yaşam biçimlerine olan talep arttıkça, yerel yönetimler de uyum sağlamak için bir çaba içerisine girmiştir. Son yıllarda sürdürülebilir kalkınma kavramı da, büyük başarı öyküleri ile birlikte anılmaktadır. Bu kavram akademik araştırmalarda, iş alanlarında ve yönetişimde de önemli bir konu halini almıştır. Bilindiği üzere, yerel yönetimlerin ülkenin çevresel, sosyal ve ekonomik kalkınmasında sorumlulukları vardır. Sürdürülebilir kalkınmanın dostu olarak nitelendirilen alanlardan biri de spordur. Ancak bir eylem, çaba, strateji veya plan olmadan spor kendi kendine kaos içinde gelişemez. Merkezi hükümet makro sorunlarla ve makro politikalarla meşgulken, yerel yönetimler, coğrafi bölgenin insan ve doğal kaynaklarını herkesten daha iyi bilen, en yakın mahalli müşterek idaredir. Bu araştırma, spor yoluyla Birleşmiş Milletler Sürdürülebilir Kalkınma Hede?erini gerçekleştirmek amacıyla Kocaeli Büyükşehir Belediye Kağıtspor'da yapılan alan çalışması hakkında bilgi vermektedir. Hazırlanan el kitabı incelendiğinde, bahsedilen her bir girişim Sürdürülebilir Kalkınma Hede?eri ile bağlantılı olduğu görülmektedir. Çeşitli sürdürülebilirlik uygulamalarının teşvik edilmesi, pratik bir şekilde uygulanması, özellikle olumsuz çevre etkisinin azaltılması ve geleceğe olumlu, somut bir miras bırakabilme noktasında bu çalışmanın önemli olduğu düşünülmektedir.
