    İlköğretim 4.Sınıf Öğrencilerinin Dinlediklerini Anlama Düzeyinin Belirlenmesi1

    Bu çalışmada öğrencilerin dinlediklerini anlama düzeyleri incelenmiştir. Araştırma betimsel tarama modeli olarak tasarlanmıştır. Araştırmanın örneklemini, Bayburt ili 4. sınıfta öğrenim görmekte olan 103 öğrenci oluşturmaktadır. Verilerin toplanması için araştırmacılar tarafından hazırlanan, açık uçlu sorulardan oluşan bir form kullanılmıştır. Formda hikâye edici metinle ilgili 12, bilgilendirici metinle ilgili 9 adet metin içi soruya yer verilmiştir. dinledikleri hikâye edici metinleri anlama düzeylerinin bilgilendirici metinleri anlama düzeylerinden daha fazla olduğu, öğrencilerin dinledikleri hikâye edici metinleri anlama düzeyleri ile bilgilendirici metinleri anlama düzeyleri arasında anlamlı bir farklılık olduğu, öğrencilerin dinledikleri metinleri anlama düzeylerinin cinsiyete göre anlamlı bir farklılık gösterdiği tespit edilmiştir.

    Investigation of Spatial Abilities of Prospective Science Teachers

    The aim of the study is to examine the spatial abilities of prospective science teachers participating in Technology Assisted Instructional (TAI) practice. In the study, one group pretest and posttest experimental designs were used as quantitative research methods. The working group consist 64 science teaching program prospective teachers. MGMP Spatial Ability Test was used as data collection tool. SPSS package program was used for analyzing the data. As a result of the research, it was seen that prospective teachers increased their scores on each question type, especially those from 2D to 3D and 3D to 2D visualization types are higher than others after the instruction. In the direction of the results obtained, it is suggested that practices should also be included at the level of undergraduate degree which develop spatial abilities of prospective teachers and carry out investigations on the relationship between them by considering different variables affecting spatial ability.

    Primary School Teacher Candidates' Offers to Primary School Students About Environmental Consciousness

    This study aims to determine the suggestions of primary school teaching final year students in regard to the introduction of environmental consciousness. A quantitative research approach was adopted in the present study conducted with 73 students receiving education at the Department of Primary School Teaching at Kastamonu University Faculty of Education. The data were collected by a semi-structured interview form developed by the researchers. The obtained data were presented in percentages and frequencies tables. The views of the fourth grade students of department of primary school teaching concerning the effective factors for introducing environmental consciousness, leading topics, methods and techniques to be used, assessment and evaluation techniques to be employed, activities, influential courses, sufficiency of subjects about environment in primary education curriculum, and whether there is a need for a separate environment course were determined.
