Öğe New data on the genus Axonopsis Piersig, 1893 (Acari: Hydrachnidia, Aturidae) in Turkey(Bulgarian Academy of Sciences, 2015) Esen Y.; Kaya Y.; Erman O.New records of the water mites of the genus Axonopsis Piersig, 1893 (Acari: Hydrachnidia, Aturidae) from Siirt Province, Turkey, are presented in this paper. Two subgenera and three species are newly recorded to the Turkish fauna, i.e. Axonopsis (Axonopsis) complanata (Müller, 1776), A. (Brachypodopsis) guadarramensis Valdecasas, 1981 and A. (Brachypodopsis) inferorum Motaş & Tanasachi, 1947. In addition, two previously reported species from Turkey, A. (Hexaxonopsis) serrata Walter, 1928 and A. (Navinaxonopsis) persica Peši?, 2004 are also found in Siirt Province. © 2015, Bulgarian Academy of Sciences. V.; Erman O.; Kaya Y.In this study, the findings of three water mite species of the family Hygrobatidae collected from different streams in Turkey were evaluated. Hygrobates (s. str.) anatolicus Esen & Peši?, sp. n. is described as new for science. Hygrobates (Rivobates) diversiporus Sokolow, 1927 and Atractides (s. str.) nikooae Peši?, 2004, which were illustrated and thoroughly discussed, are new records for the Turkish fauna. © Yunus Esen et al.Öğe Some new records and one new species of the genus Lebertia Neuman (Acari: Hydrachnidia: Lebertiidae) from Turkey(Turkiye Klinikleri Journal of Medical Sciences, 2015) Esen Y.; Erman O.In this study, water mites of the genus Lebertia Neuman, 1880 (Acari: Hydrachnidia) collected from Antalya, Artvin, Bingöl, Erzurum, Kahramanmaras, and Siirt provinces of Turkey are presented. In total, 12 species were determined. Of these, Lebertia (s. str.) marasensis sp. nov. is described as new to science, while L. (s. str.) rufipes Koenike, 1902; L. (Pilolebertia) longiseta Bader, 1955; L. (Pilolebertia) pilosa Maglio, 1924; L. (Mixolebertia) separata Lundblad, 1930; and L. (Brentalebertia) minutipalpis K. Viets, 1920 are new records for the Turkish fauna. © TÜBİTAK.
