Öğe Examination of the Effects of Archery Exercises on Some Physical Parameters of University Students(Mattioli 1885, 2021) Turkmen, Mutlu; Kul, Murat; Gonen, Mevlut; Karatas, Ismail; Ceyhan, Mehmet Ali; Yildirim, Umit; Turker, UstunThe aim of this study was to examine the effect of eight-week modern archery training on some physical parameters of university students. In the study, one-group pretest-posttest design from the experimental research methods was used. The study group consisted of a total of 25 voluntary-students were chosen randomly 10 female and 15 male, undergraduate, and graduate levels during the fall semester of 2020-2021 academic year at Bayburt University, who have not received Olympic archery training before. The -Wilcoxon Signed Ranks Test was applied to analyse the data of the study. Regarding female participants, within the scope of Wilcoxon Signed Ranks Test results; according to the analysis results of the variables Index -Finger, Middle Finger, Ring Finger, statistically significant differences were found between the pretest and posttest values for each variable. Regarding male participants, within the scope of Wilcoxon Signed Ranks Test results; according to the analysis of the results of the participants' Back-Leg, Index Finger, Middle -Finger variables, statistically significant differences were found between the pretest and posttest values for each variable.Öğe Investigation of Motivated Consumer Innovativeness in the Context of Sports Industry in Terms of Gender, Age, Sports and Exercise Variables(Lahore Medical Research Center Llp, 2021) Karatas, Ismail; Kural, SercanAim: The research was carried out in order to investigate of motivated consumer innovativeness of the students of the coaching education department in the context of sports industry in terms of gender, age, actively doing sports and participation in exercise variables. Study design: In this quantitative study was conducted according to a general survey model. Methods: The universe of the research consisted of a total of 418 students (128 females and 290 males) in Bartin University Faculty of Sports Sciences, Department of Coaching Education, and the sample consisted of a total of 236 students (82 females and 154 males). Convenience sampling method, which is one of the non-probabilistic sampling approaches, was used in the selection of the sample, and the data were collected on a voluntary basis. Questionnaire form was used as data collection tool and this form consisted of two parts. The questionnaire form were located that Personal Information Form in the first part and Motivated Consumer Innovativeness Scale in the second part. Results: It was determined that there was no significant difference between the scores of the subscales within the scope of the gender variable of the participants. Also, there was no significant correlation between the age of the participants and the scores of the subscales. However, there were significant differences between the functional innovativeness and cognitive innovativeness scores of the participants in the context of the variable of actively doing sports status. In addition, there were significant differences between the functional innovativeness, hedonic innovativeness and cognitive innovativeness scores of the participants in the context of the variable of doing exercise status. Conclusion: In the research, motivated consumer innovations of the research group in the context of the sports industry were examined within the framework of gender, age, sports and exercise variables, and this situation was described as it exists. Research findings provide basic information for businesses operating in the sports industry to develop various strategies. In this context, new information has been obtained that will contribute to the literature with the research findings.Öğe The Relationship Between Weightlifting Trainers' Leadership Characteristics and their Leadership Strength as per the Perceptions of Athletes(Natl Cave Research & Protection Organization, India, 2020) Gonen, Mevlut; Kul, Murat; Karatas, IsmailThe research was designed with correlational research model, one of the quantitative approaches. In the selection of the research group, purposeful sampling approaches and convenience sampling method were applied. The research group consists of 351 weightlifters, 136 women and 215 men. The data were obtained using the Personal Information Form, Sports Leadership Scale (SLS) and Sport Leadership Strength Scale-Other (SLSS-O). Relevant Statistical analysis was applied to interpret the data. Consequently, low-level positive correlations between SLS and all sub-dimension mean scores of SLSS-O were determined.
