Öğe High School Students' Perception Scale of 21st Century Skills Acquired Through Digital Games(Bayburt Üniversitesi, 2024) Koçak, Talha; Korkmaz, Özgen; Saltan, FatihThe aim of this study is to develop a valid and reliable measurement tool that measures high school students' perceptions of 21st century skills acquired through digital games. The study group consisted of a total of 267 9th, 10th and 11th grade students studying in an Anatolian high school. Exploratory Factor Analysis, item analysis, reliability and retest analyses were conducted to reveal and validate the structure of the scale developed in the study. As a result of the analyses, a 5-factor measurement tool with 23 items with factor loadings between .65 and .91 was formed. These factors are Critical Thinking, Collaboration, Problem Solving, Creative Thinking and Communication. The fit index values obtained as a result of the exploratory factor analysis of the developed scale were found to be adequate and within the acceptable range. The lower-upper group averages were found to be different and significant. As a result of the research, it was determined that the Perception Scale of High School Students' 21st Century Skills Acquired through Digital Games is a valid and reliable measurement tool.
