    A Study on The Financial Attitudes and Behaviors of Academicians

    Financial attitudes and behaviors are shown the tendencies of individuals on monetary issues. It is thought that financial information level of individuals is reflected in financial attitude and behaviors of individuals. In this context, it is expected that academicians working in the fields of knowledge-intensive and mental activities are more balanced in their financial attitudes and behaviors. In this study, financial attitude and behaviors of academicians (expenditure, attitude and interest) were examined in terms of demographic variables. Black Sea Region is worked in all universities in Turkey for this purpose in using the survey technique of quantitative research data was collected from 405 academicians. The data collected were subjected to various analyzes in SPSS 22.0 program and searched for answers to the research questions. As a result of the analysis; there is a significant difference in terms of gender, age and marital status demographic variables in financial attitudes and behaviors of academicians.

    Akademisyenlerin Finansal Tutum ve Davranışlarının İncelenmesineYönelik Bir Araştırma

    Finansal tutum ve davranışlar, bireylerin finansal konulardaki eğilimlerini gösteren davranışlardır. Bireylerin finansal bilgi düzeyinin finansal tutum ve davranışlarına yansıdığı düşünülmektedir. Bu bağlamda akademisyenlerin finansal tutum ve davranışlarında daha dengeli davranmaları beklenmektedir. Bu temel yargıdan hareketle bu çalışmada akademisyenlerin finansal tutum ve davranışları (harcama, tutum ve ilgi) demografik değişkenler bakımından incelenmiştir. Bu amaç doğrultusunda nicel araştırma kapsamında anket tekniği kullanılarak Türkiye`de Karadeniz Bölgesi`ndeki tüm üniversitelerde görev yapan 405 akademisyenden veri toplanmıştır. Toplanan veriler SPSS 22.0 programında çeşitli analizlere tabi tutulmuştur. Analiz sonucunda; akademisyenlerin finansal tutum ve davranışlarında cinsiyet, yaş ve medeni durum gibi demografik değişkenleraçısından kısmen anlamlı bir farklılığın olduğu, unvan ve aylık gelir demografik değişkenleri açısından anlamlı bir farklılığın olmadığı tespit edilmiştir.

    Artificial Intelligence and the Metaverse in Sport: Emerging Trends and Future Directions from a Bibliometric Analysis

    In recent years, artificial intelligence (AI) and metaverse technologies have found applications in areas such as athlete performance analysis, fan engagement and virtual event management, leading to a growing volume of research in these areas. The aim of this study is to reveal the bibliometric profile of scientific research on AI and metaverse in sports and to increase the knowledge at the intersection of these disciplines by analyzing scientific production and trends in this field. For this purpose, 255 publications on AI and metaverse in sports between 1992-2025 in the Web of Science (WoS) core collection in the period of October 2024 were examined by bibliometric analysis technique. As a result of the analysis, it was concluded that scientific studies on AI and metaverse in sports have increased over the years and attracted more and more attention. Especially the high scientific production in 2022 and the high citation rate in 2013 revealed the potential and importance of these fields. It is possible to say that this study is important in terms of identifying new research/application areas, emphasizing international collaborations, providing important information/data for academia/the sports industry, encouraging interdisciplinary approaches, guiding future studies and contributing to the relevant literature. In future studies, it is considered necessary to conduct more research on AI and metaverse in sports and to develop practical projects. In this context, it is recommended to conduct research to explain the effects of AI and metaverse technologies on sports and how these technologies can be used in sports organizations.

    Artificial Intelligence Entrepreneurship: A Conceptual Research

    Entrepreneurship is a concept closely related to technology and is the process of creating an innovation that provides added value. Developments in technology in recent years have also affected the phenomenon of entrepreneurship. One of the technologies that affect entrepreneurship and differentiate entrepreneurship is artificial intelligence. Therefore, the concept of artificial intelligence entrepreneurship can be mentioned. The aim of this study is to make an assessment of artificial intelligence entrepreneurship. For this purpose, conceptual analysis technique was used in the study. In this context, the study first provides information about entrepreneurship and artificial intelligence technology and then tries to explain artificial intelligence entrepreneurship based on current examples. As a result, it is seen that there are various artificial intelligence entrepreneurship applications in areas such as smart platforms, machine learning, optimization, autonomous vehicles, natural language processing, internet of things and artificial vision in many sectors including automotive, health, banking, finance, education, media, energy, logistics, e-commerce, security, defense and law.

    Atatürk as an Entrepreneurial Leader

    Mustafa Kemal Atatürk, the founder of the Republic of Türkiye, has shown that he is an entrepreneurial leader by taking initiatives in many fields including economic, social, cultural and artistic. However, although academic research has been conducted on the relationship between Atatürk and leadership, no research emphasizing Atatürk's entrepreneurial leadership aspect has been found. The aim of this study is to examine Atatürk's characteristics and activities in the context of entrepreneurial leadership. For this purpose, conceptual research technique is used within the scope of qualitative research method. In this context, the study consists of three partsIn the first part, Atatürk's personal characteristics, his entrepreneurship direction and the entrepreneurship model he adopted based on his words and exemplary behaviors, in the second part, Atatürk's initiatives as an individual, and in the third part, the support given to entrepreneurs during Atatürk's period are explained. As a result, it is possible to say that Atatürk adopted an entrepreneurship model that incorporates many entrepreneurial approaches such as commercial, social, agricultural and political at the same time. It is thought that this study will contribute to the literature in terms of revealing Atatürk's entrepreneurial leadership aspect, and it is expected that Atatürk's entrepreneurship model will guide today's business world, economic management and academia.

    Bibliometric Analysis of Islamic Entrepreneurship

    Islamic entrepreneurship is a type of entrepreneurship that is realized within the framework of Islamic principles and values, and it is seen that research on the subject has been increasing in recent years. This study was conducted in order to review the literature on Islamic entrepreneurship and to reveal the current trends and developments in this field. For this purpose, bibliometric analysis technique was used within the scope of quantitative research method. In this context, 263 scientific publications published in the Web of Science (WoS) database on October 5, 2024 between 2004-2024 and addressing Islamic entrepreneurship were analyzed. The study concluded that Islamic entrepreneurship is a global issue and has been addressed in various contexts in different geographies such as Türkiye, Malaysia and Iran. At the same time, Islamic entrepreneurship literature focuses on various fields such as business, economics, education, religion and social sciences. This diversity provides a more comprehensive and richer body of knowledge and has the potential to offer new perspectives for future studies that bring together different disciplines. In this context, it can be said that joint scientific projects should be developed with researchers from different countries to help understand the universal dynamics of Islamic entrepreneurship.

    Bibliometric Analysis of Sport Entrepreneurship Literature: The Case of Web of Science

    Sport entrepreneurship is the sport dimension of entrepreneurship and research on the concept has increased in recent years. The aim of this research is to provide a general perspective on sports entrepreneurship, to draw attention to the importance of the subject and to generate ideas for further research. For this purpose, bibliometric analysis technique was used in the research. In this context, 494 publications on sport entrepreneurship in the WoS database were examined under 7 headings (advanced search, cited references, co-author analysis, common word analysis, citation analysis, bibliometric matching analysis, co-citation analysis). These titles were analyzed in a total of 32 parameters and analyzed bibliometrically with Sankey diagram, VOSviewer, MapChart and Wordclouds programs. When the researches on sports entrepreneurship were examined, it was determined that the most publications were made in 2020 and the most citations were made in 2021, and the title, keyword, abstract, research area and WoS categories specified in the publications were related to each other. In this context, it has been seen that the basis of the structure in the relevant literature is sports, entrepreneurship, management, business and innovation. Although bibliometric studies have been conducted in the field of entrepreneurship in national literature, bibliometric analysis of sports entrepreneurship has not been carried out in a comprehensive manner, the number of studies in the international literature is low, and the use of more parameters and more data in this research than the studies conducted in the international literature reveals the importance and originality of the research.

Bilim etiğine uygun geçekleştirilen bilimsel araştırmalar daha güvenilir ve objektif sonuçlar vereceğinden, hem araştırmacıları hem de araştırmayı ilgilendiren bilim dalını daha değerli kılmaktadır. Bilim etiğine uygun yapılmayan araştırmalar ise bilimsel çalışmayı değersizleştirmekle birlikte ilgili bilim dalına ve topluma da zarar vermektedir. Bu nedenle bilimsel araştırma ve yayınların bilim etiğine uygun bir şekilde doğruluk, dürüstlük, açıklık, adillik, sorumluluk ve titizlik çerçevesinde gerçekleştirilmesi gerekmektedir.     The Blockchain Usage and Current Trends in the Tourism Sector: A Conceptual Research

    Today, with changes and developments in technology, there are changes in concepts, uses, and even in daily life, and it is seen that this situation permeates all areas of life. In this context, many new types of technology have emerged. Blockchain is one of these technologies and is one of the applications in the tourism sector in human life. Therefore, it is necessary to examine this phenomenon by focusing on the studies carried out to perceive the possible results of both software and hardware applications realized with technologies developed on blockchain, and to understand the opportunities that may arise in the tourism sector. Accordingly, in this study, particularly studies on the areas where tourism and blockchain intersect are examined and a conceptual analysis is conducted on these topics by determining the topics of blockchain use in Europe and the USA from the perspective of basic accommodation services, tourist data, medical tourism, and global application areas. Based on this academic framework, an application suggestion for Türkiye is also provided.

    A Conceptual Analysis for Social Entrepreneurship in Agriculture

    Purpose: Entrepreneurship is a qualified concept that brings more than economic and social development of countries by bringing together production factors in a field of activity. Entrepreneurship, which is considered only for commercial and industrial areas, is not considered for the agricultural sector, which also causes farmers and agricultural producers not to see themselves as entrepreneurs. In this context, it should be evaluated and supported under the name of agricultural entrepreneur, considering that there are entrepreneurs in the agricultural sector as in other sectors. On the other hand, although agriculture is seen as the most important source of livelihood in rural areas, it can be said that agriculture is an important tool in combating poverty. This situation necessitates the existence of third sector organizations or individuals called social entrepreneurs in order to produce solutions for the people who have some material and moral problems such as poverty in this society. The aim of this study is to emphasize the importance of social entrepreneurship in agriculture and to contribute to the literature. Design/methodology/approach: In this study, a conceptual analysis of agricultural social entrepreneurship was made based on secondary data. In this direction, firstly, the concept of agricultural entrepreneurship has been explained, then the phenomenon of agricultural social entrepreneurship has been examined in detail. Findings: As a result of the conceptual analysis, it was determined that the agricultural sector should have an emphasis on the social aspect as well as the economic aspect, and the existence of agricultural social entrepreneurs is needed to develop the agricultural sector in order to combat important social problems such as poverty. Originality/value: This study is valuable in terms of demonstrating that social entrepreneurship is an important factor for agriculture as in other sectors and it is an important tool for combating poverty in rural areas. © 2020, Turkish Journal of Agricultural Economics.     DETERMINATION OF SUCCESS CRITERIA FOR THE WEDDING DRESS SECTOR ENTREPRENEURS

    In this study, it is aimed to determine success criteria that the entrepreneurs who produce wedding dresses should have in order to be able to produce wedding dresses, establish wedding dress producing enterprises and / or maintain an established enterprise. Quantitative research method is used in this study. The sample of the study is the entrepreneurs who produce wedding dresses in Bursa, Istanbul and Samsun. Survey technique is used during data collection. Data is collected from 25 wedding dress entrepreneurs with the help of developed questionnaire. There are also open-ended questions in the questionnaire. The frequencies, percentages, mean and standard deviations of the collected data are interpreted in the SPSS 21.0 program. As a result of the analysis to be a wedding dress manager; having knowledge about the machines and apparatus used in planting, getting the body size of the customer and applying the sewing techniques are the most important characteristics. In addition, information about advertising-promotion, branding and marketing is the most important characteristic of business management. When the research results are evaluated, it will help the universities to be successful entrepreneurs of the students of clothing production and fashion design program to be taught entrepreneurship, marketing and brand related lessons.

    E-TİCARET DERSİNİN ONLİNE PAZARLAMA GİRİŞİMİNE ETKİSİ: HAZIR GİYİM TEKNOLOJİSİ PROGRAMI ÖĞRENCİLERİ ÜZERİNDE BİR ARAŞTIRMA

    E-ticaret üreticilerin ürünlerini internet ortamında pazarlayabilecekleri ve çok az bir sermaye gerektiren önemli bir araçtır. Bu nedenle üniversitelerin çeşitli bölümlerindeki öğrencilere e-girişimcilik ve e-ticaret ile ilgili derslerin verilmesi giderek yaygınlaşmaktadır. Bu çalışmada meslek yüksekokullarının müfredatında yer alan e-ticaret dersinin öğrencilerin kendi ürettikleri ürünleri online pazarlama girişimlerine etkisi araştırılmıştır. Bu bağlamda Sinop Üniversitesi Gerze Meslek Yüksekokulu Hazır Giyim Teknolojisi Programı'nda öğrenim gören öğrencilere e-ticaret dersi verildikten sonra e-ticaret dersinin online pazarlamaya etkisini tespit etmek amacıyla öğrenciler üzerinde soru sorma tekniği kullanılarak bir araştırma gerçekleştirilmiştir. Araştırma sonucunda e-ticaret dersinin öğrencilerin kendi ürettikleri ürünleri online pazarlama girişimlerine olumlu etkisinin olduğu tespit edilmiştir. Öğrencilerin %88'i e-ticaret dersinin online pazarlamaya olumlu etkisinin olduğunu beyan etmiştir. Yine elde edilen bulgulara göre, öğrencilerin % 93'ünün mezuniyetten sonra online ürün pazarlayabilecekleri düşünülmektedir. Ayrıca öğrencilerin online pazarlama sırasında en çok karşılaştığı sorunlar ise giysiyle, ulaştırılmasıyla ve fotoğraflarının kalitesi ile ilgili sorunlar olduğu belirlenmiştir. Elde edilen bu sonuçlar e-ticaret dersinin online pazarlamayı olumlu etkilediğini ve bu amaç için kullanılabileceğini göstermektedir. Bu nedenle e-girişimci sayısını artırarak istihdama katkı sağlamak amacıyla meslek yüksekokullarının müfredatlarında e-ticaret dersine daha çok yer verilmesi önerilmektedir.

    ENDÜSTRİ 4.0 PERSPEKTİFİNDE İNOVASYON

    Sanayi devrimleri Dünya ekonomi ve sanayi hayatının dönüm noktalarıdır. Endüstri 4.0 bu sanayi devrimlerinin sonuncusu olarak kabul edilmektedir. Dolayısıyla Endüstri 4.0 son yıllarda üzerinde sıklıkla konuşulan ve araştırmacıların ilgisini çeken bir konu olmuştur. İlk kez 2011 yılında Hannover Fuarında Endüstri 4.0 kavramı gündeme getirilmiş, “Akıllı Fabrikalar” ve siber-fiziksel imalat sistemlerinin küresel anlamda birbiriyle esnek işbirliğini mümkün kılan bir üretim sisteminden söz edilmiştir. Başta ABD, Almanya ve Çin olmak üzere dünya ekonomisine yön veren birçok ülke Endüstri 4.0 modeline geçmeye çalışmaktadır. Endüstri 4.0 modeli her konuda bir devrim olmakla birlikte aynı zamanda birçok yeniliği, dönüşümü ve değişimi de beraberinde getirmektedir. Dolayısıyla Endüstri 4.0 modeline geçmeden önce birçok konuda büyük çapta inovasyonların gerçekleştirilmesi gerekmektedir. İnovasyon; ürün, süreç, pazarlama ve örgütsel anlamda katma değer oluşturan yenilikleri ifade etmektedir. Endüstri 4.0 teknolojilerinin sağladığı inovasyonlar ihtiyaçtan çok zorunluluk olarak kabul edilmektedir. Bu nedenle zorunlu görülen inovasyonların gerçekleşmemesi durumunda Endüstri 4.0 modeline geçişin başarılı olması mümkün görünmemektedir. Bu çalışmanın amacı Endüstri 4.0 modeline geçişte inovasyonun önemini ortaya koymaktır. Bu amaç doğrultusunda öncelikle Endüstri 4.0 ve inovasyon kavramları açıklanmakta, sonrasında Endüsti 4.0 perspektifinde inovasyon incelenmekte, örnekler verilmekte ve öneriler geliştirilmektedir. Ayrıca araştırmada Endüstri 4.0 devrimi için ürün, süreç ve pazarlama inovasyonlarından daha çok örgütsel inovasyonların gerekli olduğu vurgulanmaktadır. Bu bağlamda Endüstri 4.0 modeline geçişte örgütsel anlamda çok sayıda radikal inovasyonların yapılması gerekmektedir.

    Ethical Entrepreneurship

    The concept of maximum profit-minimum cost that develops with capitalist thought has led to the disappearance of morality in the business world. This has led entrepreneurs to act with the ambition of over-earning and resort to various ethical violations. However, it can be seen that the entrepreneurs who are distanced from basic ethical values such as truth, honesty and justice for the purpose of gaining more, fail in the long run. At this point, it can be said that the most important solution for the business world is ethical entrepreneurship. In this study, it is aimed to examine the ethical entrepreneurship conceptually. For this purpose, first disclosed ethical and entrepreneurial concepts, being attempted to define ethical entrepreneurial then ethical entrepreneurship in the World and Turkey are examined. Researches show that there is a significant loss of value in the shares of entrepreneurs engaged in unethical activities and this situation causes negative effects on the brand value and market value of enterprises in the medium and long term. Academic studies should be conducted in order to raise awareness about ethical entrepreneurship, and various activities such as training and seminars should be organized in order to raise the ethical awareness of entrepreneurs.

    FINANCIAL STRATEGIC ANALYSIS IN SMEs: THE CASE OF AMASYA PROVINCE

    Strategic management refers to the development of a management approach that takes into account both the internal and external environments in which an enter-prise operates. Strategic analysis is an important stage of strategic management process. A strategic objective of enterprises is to make a profit above the sector average. It is both a financial objective and is directly associated with the ability of enterprises to stay in the market and to achieve their other objectives. Therefore, strategic financial analysis should be performed on enterprises. The aim of this study is to make financial strategic analysis of Small and Medium Enterprises (SMEs). Study sample consisted of managers of 10 SMEs operating in Amasya, Turkey. Data were collected using a Financial Strategic Analysis Form. Data were analyzed using SWOT analysis to identify the SMEs' strengths, weaknesses, op-portunities and threats. As a result of SWOT analysis, four common financial strategies were developed for enterprises. These strategies were 1) investing idle cash in appropriate financial instruments, 2) accelerating the collection of receiva-bles, 3) minimizing exchange rate and interest rate risks by trading in futures market and 4) reducing the cost of production.

    Green entrepreneurship and sustainable economic growth: A conceptual research

    In recent years, environmental and economic problems, such as financialcrises, global pandemics, natural disasters, and climate change, have revealed the importance of sustainable economic growth and green entrepreneurship within sustainability. Sustainable economic growth is an economic growth model that does not put significant pressure on the prices of goods and services, ensures that resources are consumed at a level that does not adversely affect future generations, allows the conscious use of natural resources and does not significantly harm the environment. Green entrepreneurship is a new type of entrepreneurship that aims to generate and implement solutions to environmental problemsand promote social change to prevent environmental damage. Research shows a close relationship between green entrepreneurship and sustainable economic growth. This study aims to reveal the link between green entrepreneurship and sustainable economic growth. In the study,the conceptual research technique is used within the scope of the qualitative research method. Based on academic research and currentdata, the relationship between green entrepreneurship and sustainable economic growth is examined. As a result, the study emphasizes that humanity can reach a sustainable future by promoting environment oriented economic growth with green initiatives. © 2024 Nova Science Publishers, Inc.
