Öğe Are Functional Trainings Effective On Male Students Of Vocational School Of Health Services?(2023) Altuğ, Tolga; Çingöz, Yunus Emre; Söyler, MehmetIn this study, it was aimed to examine the effects of functional training applied for eight weeks on the body composition and some physical fitness parameters of male volunteer paramedic students studying at a university's health services vocational schools. In order to determine the effects of functional training applied for eight weeks on body composition (body weight, height, body fat percentage, body mass index), standing long jump, flexibility, push-ups, sit-ups, speed and balance parameters, a pre-test-post-test protocol was applied and the difference between the two measurements was calculated. Normality and T-Tests were used in the analysis of all parameters. A total of 36 secondary school students voluntarily participated in the study: respectively, 18 from Group 1 and 18 from Group 2 (age: 14.94±0.41 / 14±0.34 years; height: 175.22±7.62 / 169.33±6.95 cm; weight: 61.95±9.07 / 56.83±6.33 kg). While Group 1 students received 8 hours of physical education lessons per week, Group 2 students were given 2 hours of physical education lessons according to the Ministry of National Education curriculum. Body weight (kg) and body fat percentage (%) were determined using the Inbody 270 professional body analysis device. A portable dynamic balance device was used to determine the students' balance. The test results were analyzed using the SPSS Statistics software. Non-parametric tests were employed since the data did not show a normal distribution. The Mann-Whitney U test was used to test the significance of the difference in balance and body fat percentage (BFP) level averages between the two independent groups. Upon evaluating our data, it was statistically ascertained that the dynamic balance (Balance) values of Group 1 secondary school students were significantly higher when compared to Group 2 students. However, no statistically significant difference was found in body fat percentage (BFP) values between Group 1 and Group 2. As a result, it is seen that increasing physical education lesson hours in secondary education contributes to some physical development of young individuals. Sonuç olarak Sporda mental dayanıklılıkları arasında negatif yönde, düşük düzeyde ve anlamlı ilişki olduğu tespit edilmiştir.Öğe Physical and Physiological Factors in the Athletıc Performance Process of Junior Female Boxers in the Preparation Process of the Turkish Individual Boxing Championship(Gümüşhane Üniversitesi, 2022) Söyler, Mehmet; Çingöz, Yunus EmreThis study was carried out with the aim of investigating the effects of Elite level Junior Female Boxers on the physical and physiological values that occur after training during the preparatory camp athletic performance process. Elite level athletes aged between 14 and 16 who competed on behalf of the Private Cankiri Cinar Sports Club of Cankiri province and had degrees at different levels participated in our research. A training program was prepared for the volunteer participants under the supervision of the Technical Director and their trainers, and a pre-test before the eight-week preparatory camp and a post-test one day before the tournament after the camp were applied in order to determine the changes in the selected performance parameters. In the tests, anthropometric measurements, physical performance tests (vertical jump, standing long jump, balance test) and strength tests (push-ups, sit-ups, jumping rope, hand grip) tests were applied to the participants as pre-test and post-test. Frequency analysis in determining the age variables of the participants in the analysis of the data; Descriptive statistics were used to determine the averages of the experiments for body composition and physical parameters, and the Wilcoxon Test was applied to determine the status of the participants in the pre-test and post-test and to determine the relationship between them. As a result, there was a significant difference between all tests except the rope skipping test, but no significant difference was found in the rope skipping test (p>0.05). As a result; It has been determined that 8-week athletic performance training for the training camp has a positive effect on some specific performance tests specific to boxing in 14-16 age group female boxers.
