    Mechanical Analysis of a Layered Hybrid Composite Plate Created for Helmet Structures

    In this study, the effects of aluminum alloy added between a hybrid decked composite plate with increased strength on the structure were investigated. Of the types of composite materials for this layered plate, carbon fiber and glass fiber were selected. Epoxy resin has been deciphered as the binder to be added between these materials. The studies were carried out using the finite element based ANSYS package program as numerical analysis. Collision analysis was applied using the three-dimensional finite element method. As a result of this analysis, the effects of sheet metal and the composite sequence were investigated and ideal sequences were tried to be determined.
