dc.description.abstractBu çalışma ortaokul 8. Sınıf düzeyindeki görme engelli öğrencilere Fen Bilimleri dersi Yaşamımızdaki Elektrik ünitesinin kazanımlarına yönelik olarak daha etkili bir eğitim sunabilmek amacıyla yapılmıştır. Çalışmada görme engelli öğrencilerin görme düzeylerine yönelik ihtiyaçları ve üniteye yönelik genel öğrenme ihtiyaçları dikkate alınarak bir etkinlik yapılmış ve bu etkinliğin öğrencilerin kavramsal öğrenme düzeyleri üzerindeki etkisi incelenmiştir. Çalışma grubunu Erzurum İli Görme Engelliler Ortaokulu 2013-2014 ve 2014-2015 eğitim-öğretim yılında öğrenim gören 8. Sınıf öğrencileri oluşturmaktadır. Durum çalışması takip edilerek yapılan çalışmada etkinlik kullanılarak yapılan öğretimin görme engelli öğrencilerin Yaşamımızdaki Elektrik ünitesinin kavramsal öğreniminde olumlu etkileri olduğu belirlenmiştir.
dc.description.abstractThe aim of this study was to provide more effective teaching of the unit "Electricity in our lives" to 8th grade middle school students with visual impairment. The needs of these students were detected in order to prepare the activity. Their general and special needs were taken into account while designing the instruction. The effect of the activity on their conceptual learning was searched. Qualitative approach was employed as the research strategy. It is carried out as a case study. Participants of the study was consisted of thirteen visually impaired students. The participants were selected as a voluntary basis from a special school for blind in a city centre at the Northeast Anatolia of Turkey. The school is one of the out of 16 special schools for blind students in Turkey. It is find out that the activity has a positive effect on these students at conceptual learning
