The main purpose of this research is to examine the usage habits of the internet, which is an inseparable part of our day, in terms of coaches who play an important role in the sports society. The study aims to evaluate the internet addiction levels of coaches working in Gaziantep province in terms of various sociodemographic variables. In the study, the relational screening model was used in order to describe the relationships between the variables and the current situation. The sample of the study consists of a total of 172 coaches who were selected by the convenience sampling method and who volunteered to participate in the study. When the demographic distribution of the participants was examined; it was seen that 34.3% (n=59) were female, 65.7% (n=113) were male. According to their marital status, 59.3% (n=102) were married, 40.7% (n=70) were single. The average age of the participants was 37, and their average daily internet usage time was 4 hours. In terms of education levels, the majority of the sample (89.0%) were associate and undergraduate graduates. In the data collection process, the Internet Addiction Scale developed by Young and adapted to Turkish was used together with the personal information form to obtain demographic information. The statistical analysis of the obtained data was performed using the SPSS 26.0 program; descriptive statistics, independent sample t-test, one-way analysis of variance (ANOVA) and Pearson correlation analysis were applied. According to the findings obtained as a result of the research, it was determined that the gender variable did not create a statistically significant difference on internet addiction levels. On the other hand, a significant difference was determined according to the marital status variable; it was determined that the internet addiction levels of single coaches were significantly higher than those who were married. In terms of education, it was found that the internet addiction levels of coaches with associate and bachelor's degrees were higher than those with high school and postgraduate degrees. When the professional seniority variable was examined, it was determined that the addiction levels of coaches with 6-10 years of experience were higher than those with 1-5 years of experience. In addition, it was revealed that there was a positive and significant relationship between the daily internet usage time and internet addiction. In light of these findings, it was concluded that the main factors affecting internet addiction in coaches are marital status, level of education, professional seniority and especially daily internet use duration.
