Özet
Bu araştırmanın amacı okul müdürü kavramına yönelik sosyal medyanın (ekşi sözlük) algısını incelemektir. Bu araştırma nitel araştırma yöntemlerinden doküman analiz yöntemine göre tasarlanmıştır. Bu araştırmanın verilerine ekşi sözlük sosyal paylaşım sitesinden erişilmiştir. Bu araştırmanın verileri 2005-2019 yılları arasını kapsamaktadır. Okul müdürlüğüne ilişkin toplam 37 yorum analize dahil edilmiştir. Verilerin analizinde içerik analiz tekniği kullanılmıştır. Kategori ve temaların sunumunda frekans analizleri sunulmuştur. Araştırma bulguları ışığında, sosyal medyada okul müdürlerinin kişisel özellikler bakımından sıklıkla olumsuz algılandıkları belirlenmiştir. Bununla birlikte, sosyal medyada okul müdürünün mesleki özelliklerine kişisel özelliklerden daha sık vurgu yapıldığı tespit edilmiştir. Ayrıca araştırma bulgularında, sosyal medyada okul müdürlerinin kavramsal özelliklerine vurgu yapılmadığı da gözlenmiştir.
The aim of this study is to examine the perception of social media (ekşi sözlük) towards the concept of school principal. This study was designed according to the document analysis method, which is one of the qualitative research methods. The data of this study were accessed from the ekşi sözlük social networking site. The data of this study cover between 2005-2019. A total of 37 comments on the principal are included in the analysis. Content analysis technique was used in the analysis of the data. Frequency analyzes are presented in the presentation of categories and themes. In the light of the findings of this study, it was found that the school principal was perceived negatively in terms of personal characteristics in social media. In social media, it was found that the professional characteristics of the school principal were emphasized more frequently than the personal characteristics. Also, in the light of the findings of this study, it was observed that there was no emphasis on the conceptual characteristics of school principals on social media.
