Özet
Sömürgecilik, Batılı ülkelerin yeraltı ve yerüstü zenginlikleri bulunan ülkelerde bu zenginlikleri ele geçirmek için uyguladıkları politikadır. Sömürgecilerin politikasını uygularken destek aldıkları birçok kol vardır. Bunların en önemlileri ekonomi ve eğitimdir. Sömürgecilerin kolonilerde uyguladıkları eğitim sistemi sömürgecilikte önemli bir rol oynamıştır. Sömürge devletlerinde yürütülen misyonerlik faaliyetleri, silahsız işgal diyebileceğimiz milli kültürün ve dilin asimile edilmesi uygulanan eğitim sisteminin önemli çıktılarıdır. Yazar, sömürgecilerin uyguladıkları eğitim sistemini, esaslarını ve metotlarını ortaya koymaya çalışmış ve okurlarına sunmuştur.
Colonialism is the policy that Western conutries apply in countries with underground and aboveground resources to seize these resources. There are many branches that colonialist receive support from while implementing their policies. The most important these are economy and education. The education system that colonialist apply in colonies has played an important role in colonialism. Missionary activities carried out in colonial states, the assimilation of national culture and language, which we can call unarmed occupation., are important outcames of the applied education system. The author has tried to reveal the education system, principles and methods applied by colonialist and presented them to his readers.
