dc.description.abstractBu çalışmanın amacı, 8. sınıf öğrencilerinin Pisagor bağıntısı ile ilgili görsel, sembolik ve cebirsel (sözel) temsilleri bulunduran matematiksel problemleri çözme becerilerini ortaya koymaktır. Bunu amaçla üç farklı devlet ortaokulun 8. sınıflarında öğrenim gören 102 öğrenciye açık uçlu sorulardan oluşan başarı testi uygulanmıştır. Bu makale çerçevesinde konu ile doğrudan ilişkili olan sorulara öğrencilerin verdikleri cevapların analizine yer verilmiştir. Araştırmanın bulgularına göre, öğrenciler sözel ve sembolik temsillere kıyasla görsel temsillerde daha başarılıdırlar. Ayrıca öğrenciler bir temsilden diğerine geçişlerde büyük problemler yaşamaktadırlar.en_US
dc.description.abstractThe aim of this study is to demonstrate the skills of solving mathematical problematic problems in the 8th grade students who have visual, symbolic and algebraic representatives related to Pythagorean relation. After doing this, 102 students in 8th grades of different grade middle school were applied achievement test consisting of open-ended questions. The topic of this article is a direct link to the topic. According to the findings of the study, planning is more successful in visual visual representations than verbal and symbolic representations. They're also having big problems switching from one day to the next.en_US
