Consequences of Corporate Social Responsibility on Organisational Behaviour in National Publication (A Meta Analysis Study)

Özet

Having positive effects in terms of organisational results makes the concept of corporate social responsibility important. For this reason, it is important to determine the universal validity of the results of the studies on the subject. Accordingly, the study is based on the empirical data and meta-analysis of the outcome variables related to corporate social responsibility (CSR) of national or international publications selected from Turkey through the JAMOVI programme. Thus, it is aimed to reveal the results of corporate social responsibility in detail. In this context, the analysis was carried out with 57 studies, 65 single data and 15,487 samples, which were found suitable for meta-analysis and included in the research. In the research, there are 6 concepts deemed appropriate for meta-analysis. Accordingly, it was determined that there is a positive relationship between organisational commitment, which is the most frequently associated concept with corporate social responsibility, and corporate social responsibility. At the same time, a positive and high relationship was found between corporate social responsibility and corporate image, job satisfaction, organisational citizenship, corporate reputation and organisational identification. It is thought that this study will contribute to the field in terms of providing a comprehensive and up-to-date version of corporate social responsibility through empirical studies in the national literature.
