Türkiye'nin Nüfus Sorunu ve Toplumsal Algı: YouTube Kullanıcı Yorumları Üzerinden Bir İnceleme

Özet
Bu çalışmanın amacı Türkiye'de nüfus sorununa ilişkin kamuoyunda öne çıkan argümanları, endişe ve beklentileri YouTube kullanıcı yorumları üzerinden incelenmesidir. Çalışma nitel araştırma desenlerinden etnografik araştırmanın yeni türlerinden biri olan dijital etnografi yaklaşımıyla gerçekleştirilmiştir. Çalışmanın veri seti amaçlı örnekleme yöntemiyle günümüzün en sık kullanılan sosyal medya platformlarından Youtube'de "Türkiye'de nüfus" konulu videolara yapılan kullanıcı yorumlarından oluşturulmuştur. Toplam 8805 kullanıcı yorumu nitel araştırmalarda sıklıkla kullanılan bir veri toplama ve analiz programı olan MAXQDA 24 programının da yardımıyla içerik analizi yöntemiyle analiz edilmiştir. Kullanıcıların Türkiye'nin nüfus sorunlarına ilişkin yorumları altı kategoride sınıflandırılmıştır. Buna göre kullanıcılar yorumlarında ekonomik problemleri, kadının iş hayatına atılması ve kadına yönelik şiddeti, adalet ve yargıya ilişkin problemleri, eğitim problemlerini, siyasi iradenin çeşitli politikalarına ilişkin görüşleri ile beklentilerini ve sosyo-kültürel problemleri ön plana çıkardıkları görülmektedir.
The purpose of this study is to examine prominent arguments, concerns, and expectations among the public regarding the population problem in Turkey through YouTube user comments. The study was conducted using a digital ethnography approach, a new form of ethnographic research among qualitative research designs. The dataset for the study was generated using purposive sampling from user comments on videos about "Population in Turkey" on YouTube, one of today's most frequently used social media platforms. A total of 8,805 user comments were analyzed using content analysis using MAXQDA 24, a data collection and analysis program frequently used in qualitative research. User comments on Turkey's population problems were classified into six categories. Accordingly, users' comments highlighted economic problems, women entering the workforce and violence against women, problems related to justice and the judiciary, educational issues, their opinions and expectations regarding various policies of the political will, and socio-cultural issues.
