The Word 'Sa?' and Its Derivatives in Turkic

| dc.description.abstract | The sa? word which means "bird droppings" is seen for the first time in Karakhanid Turkish. This word, which has several variants in historical and contemporary dialects, has been forgotten in time and has not been able to maintain its existence in most of the contemporary dialects. In Turkish, these words and their derivatives in the historical process with the expansion of meaning "animal manure, dirt, dirt, garbage, trash" and so on meanings have also gained. One of the derivatives of the sa? word and not just in Turkish dialects of Turkish that has been identified sa?ra is derived with + rA (< +Xr +A) which a rare structure. The clarification of the structure of the word sa?ra will also contribute to the understanding of the çöpre word which cannot be given a definitive judgment on its structure. | |
| dc.description.abstract | "Kuş pisliği" anlamını taşıyan sa? kelimesi ilk defa Karahanlı Türkçesinde görülmektedir. Tarihi ve çağdaş lehçelerde birkaç türevi de bulunan bu kelime zaman içinde unutulmuş, çağdaş lehçelerin büyük bir kısmında varlığını koruyamamıştır. Türkçede bu kelime ve türevleri tarihi süreç içinde anlam genişlemesi ile "hayvan gübresi, kir, pislik, çöp, süprüntü" vb. anlamlar da kazanmıştır. Sa? kelimesinin türevlerinden biri olan ve sadece Türkiye Türkçesi ağızlarında tespit edilen sa?ra kelimesi Türkçede nadir bir yapı olan +rA (< +Xr +A) ile türemiştir. Sa?ra kelimesinin yapısının aydınlatılması, yapısı hakkında kesin bir hüküm verilemeyen çöpre kelimesinin anlaşılmasına da katkıda bulunacaktır. | |
