Özet
İmâmü'l-Haremeyn Ebü'l-Me'âlî el-Cüveynî, Türk Kelâm akademisi için sadece klasik bir figür değil, aynı zamanda metodolojik zenginliği ve eleştirel düşünceyi temsil eden bir şahsiyet olarak kabul edilmektedir. Kelâm ve fıkıh usûlü arasındaki disipliner bütünleşmeye öncülük eden Cüveynî, Türk Kelâm akademisinin post-klasik dönemin yorum geleneğinden çıkarak, kendine özgü bir fikri sentez inşa etme arayışının önemli bir prototipi olduğu ifade edilebilir. Tez, İslâm düşünce tarihinde önemli bir yere sahip olan İmâmü'l-Haremeyn el-Cüveynî'nin fikrî mirasının, son yüzyılda (1923-2025) Türk Kelâm akademisindeki konumunu ve görmüş olduğu ilgiyi sistematik olarak analiz etmeyi amaçlamaktadır. Tezde öncelikle insan fiilleri, kesb teorisi, epistemoloji ve bilgi teorisine dair serdettiği görüşleri üzerinde durulmuştur. Akabinde, son yüzyılda Türk kelâm akademisinde Cüveynî'ye yönelik yapılan araştırmalar, klasik metinler çerçevesinde analitik değerlendirmeye tâbi tutularak bunların dikkat çekici yönleri ortaya konmaya çalışılmıştır. Ayrıca tezde, Cüveynî'nin düşüncesinin güncel etik ve bilim felsefesi tartışmalarına entegre edilmesi yönünde öneriler sunulmuştur. Nihâi olarak, Türk Kelâm araştırmalarının Cüveynî'nin eserlerinden bilhassa eş-Şâmil fi'l-Usûl ve el-İrşâd'a başvurarak, kelâm'ın kurucu metinlerine doğrudan dönüş eğilimi sergilediği görülmüştür. Yine, Cüveynî'ye yönelik akademik ilginin özellikle 2000'li yıllardan sonra ciddi bir niceliksel ve niteliksel artış gösterdiği tespit edilmiştir.
This master's thesis aims to systematically analyze the position and scholarly interest received by the intellectual heritage of Im?m al-?aramayn Ab? al-Ma??l? al-Juwayn? (d. 478/1085) within the Turkish Kal?m academy over the last century (1923-2025). The study relies on a comprehensive bibliographic survey and document analysis methodology, encompassing academic publications in Kal?m literature (theses, articles, books). The main finding of the research is that academic interest in al-Juwayn? has shown a significant quantitative and qualitative increase, particularly after the 2000s. Turkish Kal?m literature, by referencing al Juwayn?'s works, especially al-Sh?mil f? U??l al-D?n and al-Irsh?d, has demonstrated a tendency toward a direct return to the foundational texts of Kal?m. Thematically, interest has been concentrated on the subjects of Human Actions and the Theory of Kasb and Epistemology and Theory of Knowledge. The focus on the Kasb theory indicates an effort to bring the historical dispute between the M?tur?d? and Ash?ar? schools to a contemporary platform, and to produce a Kal?m? response to modern philosophy's critiques of determinism. Furthermore, al Juwayn?'s prominent role is highlighted by his modeling of disciplinary integration between Kal?m and U??l al-Fiqh (Principles of Jurisprudence). In conclusion, al-Juwayn? is accepted in the Turkish Kal?m academy not merely as a classic figure, but as a personality who represents methodological richness and critical thought. In this role, al-Juwayn? has served as a catalyst for the Turkish Kal?m tradition's quest to move beyond the post-classical commentary tradition and construct a unique intellectual synthesis. Based on these findings, the thesis offers recommendations for integrating al-Juwayn?'s thought into contemporary ethical and philosophy of science debates.
