5E Modelinin 6. Sınıf Dil Bilgisi Öğretiminde Başarıya ve Kalıcılığa Etkisi

Özet
Dil bilgisi öğretiminde öğrencinin aktif bir öğrenme gerçekleştirmesini hedefleyen bu çalışmada özellikle fen alanında denenmiş ve başarılı sonuçlar elde edilmiş 5E öğretim modelinin dil bilgisi öğretiminde öğrencilerin akademik başarısı ve edindiği bilgilerin kalıcılığı üzerine etkisini belirleme amaçlanmıştır. Araştırmada ön test- son test kontrol gruplu deneysel desen kullanılmıştır. Akademik başarı ve bilginin hatırlanma düzeyini belirlemek için ön test, son test ve kalıcılık testi puanları karşılaştırılarak istatistiksel analizleri SPSS.15 paket programında yapılmıştır. Çalışmanın uygulanma süreci toplam dört hafta sürmüştür. Çalışmanın bitiminden altı hafta sonra ise kalıcılık testi her iki gruba da uygulanmıştır. Yapılan istatistiksel işlemler sonucunda, 5E modeliyle dil bilgisi öğretiminin yapıldığı deney grubu öğrencilerinin akademik başarı ve kalıcılık testi puan ortalamaları, kontrol grubuna göre anlamlı bir farklılık göstermiştir
In this study which aims to ensure the students to conduct active learning in grammar teaching, it was aimed to determine the effect of 5E model, which was tested in sciences and successful results were obtained, on academic success of the students and permanency of the knowledge they learn in 6th grade grammar teaching. Pre-test, post-test experimental design with control group was used in the study. Pre-test, post-test and permanency test scores were compared to determine the level of the academic success and the level of remembering knowledge, and the statistical analyses were done through SPSS.15. The implementation process of the study took four weeks at total. Permanency test was applied on both groups on the 6th week after the study had been completed. As a result of the conducted statistical analyses, the academic success and permanency test score averages of the experimental group who were taught grammar with 5E model showed significant difference compared to those of control group
