Özet
Bu çalışmada, cabreúva-vermelha (Myroxylon peruiferum L.f.) ahşabında ağartma uygulaması yapılması sonrasında meydana gelen bazı yüzey özelliklerindeki (beyazlık indeksi: WI*, parlaklık ve renk parametreleri) değişimleri incelenmiştir. Ağartma uygulamasında 2 farklı kimyasallar kullanılmıştır (C2H2O4 ve H2O2 + NaOH). Ağartılmış ahşap yüzeyler ile ağartılmamış yüzeyler birbirleri ile kıyaslanmıştır. Bütün testler üzerinde varyans analizleri anlamlı olarak bulunmuştur. Her iki ağartma kimyasalı ile L*, b* ve ho değerlerinde artışlar görülmüştür. C* ve a* değerlerinde ise C2H2O4 ile artış ve H2O2 + NaOH ile azalış elde edilmiştir. Ağartma uygulamaları ile 60 ve 85 derecelerde her iki yönde yapılan parlaklık değerlerinde azalışlar bulunmuştur. ?E* değerleri en yüksek H2O2 + NaOH kimyasalı ile 10.00 olarak elde edilirken, C2H2O4 kimyasalı ile 5.43 bulunmuştur. H2O2 + NaOH kimyasalı, C2H2O4 kimyasalından yüksek ?E* değeri vermiştir. ?L*, ?a*, ?b* ve ?C* değerleri C2H2O4 kimyasalı ile pozitif olarak elde edilmiştir. H2O2 + NaOH ile ?L* ve ?b* değerleri pozitif bulunurken, ?a* ve ?C* değerleri ise negatif olarak hesaplanmıştır. H2O2 + NaOH ile WI* değerleri her iki yöndeki ölçümlerde artış durumu sergilemiştir.
In this study, changes in some surface properties (whiteness index: WI*, glossiness, and color parameters) of cabreúva-vermelha (Myroxylon peruiferum L.f.) wood after bleaching treatment have been investigated. Two different chemicals were used in the bleaching treatment (C2H2O4 and H2O2 + NaOH). Significant differences were detected in all variance analyses conducted across the entire range of tests. Increases in L*, b*, and ho values were observed with both bleaching chemicals. For C* and a* values, an increase was achieved with C2H2O4 while a decrease was obtained with H2O2 + NaOH. Decreases in glossiness evaluations conducted in both directions at 60 and 85 degrees were found with bleaching treatments. The ?E* values were found to be 10.00 in the samples exposed to the H2O2 +NaOH chemical, while they were determined to be 5.43 in the C2H2O4 chemical. The H2O2 + NaOH chemical yielded a higher ?E* value compared to the C2H2O4 chemical. The ?L*, ?a*, ?b*, and ?C* values were obtained positively with C2H2O4. With H2O2 + NaOH, ?L* and ?b* values were found to be positive, while ?a* and ?C* values were calculated to be negative. With H2O2 + NaOH, WI* values exhibited an increase in measurements conducted in both directions.
