Özet
IX. yy. da yaşamış olan Ebu Muhammed Cemalüddin Abdülmelik b. Hişam b. Eyyub el-Himyeri el-Meafiri el-Basri el-Mısri'nin (ö.218/833) kaleme aldığı es-Siretü'n-Nebeviyye adlı eseri, Hz. Peygamber'in hayatını Kur'an ayetleri bağlamında ele alan ilk siyer kaynaklarındandır. Türkçe literatürde oldukça büyük bir boşluk olması hasebiyle İbn Hişam'ın hayatı, eserleri ve özellikle konumuzla olan ilgili eserin tanıtımına kısaca yer verdik. Bu bağlamda Resulullah'ın Mekke ve Medine dönemindeki hayatını konu edinen, İbn Hişam'ın eserini diğer kaynaklarla kıyaslamaya zikretmeye gayret ettik. Sonuç kısmında ise elde ettiğimiz bulguları değerlendirmeye özen gösterdik.

The work called es-Siretü'n-Nebeviyye, written by Eyyub el-Himyerei el-Meafiri el-Basri el-Mısri (d.218/833), is one of the first sirah sources that discuss the life of the Prophet in the context of the verses of the Quran. Since there is a big gap in Turkish literature, we briefly included the life and works of Ibn Hisham and especially the introduction of the work related to our subject. In this context, we tried to mention Ibn Hisham's work on the life of the Prophet Muhammad in Mecca and Medina and compare it with other sources. In the conclusion part, we took care to evaluate the findings we obtained.
