This research examines the effects of various demographic characteristics on how trainers express their emotions. 539 (134 women and 405 men) active trainers in various branches participated in study. The "Emotional Expression Scale" which was developed by King and Emmons (1990) and adapted into Turkish by Kuzucu (2006) were used. Data analysed in SPSS 25.0 statistics program with "Independent Sample T " and "One-Way Analysis of Variance" tests. The results were interpreted at .05 significance level. According to the analysis results for the Expression of Emotion Scale, the study showed in terms of the "Affinity Expression" that the married people had higher values than singles, those with 10 or more years of sports experiences had higher values than those with 1-3 years of sports experiences and those with 1-4 years of active coaching experience had higher values those with less than 1 year; "Positive Emotion" that the women had higher values than the men, 25-31 years olds had higher values than those aged 32 and over, public employees had higher values than private sector ones; "Negative Emotion" that men had higher values than women, the those with master degrees had higher values than those with high school or less educational levels, married people had higher values singles; "Total Expression of Emotions" that the trainers with associate, bachelor and master degrees had higher values than those with high school or less educational levels, people with an income of 8476 TL and above had higher values those with an income of 2825 TL and less, and public employees had higher values than private sector ones (P<.05).
