Özet
Bu araştırmanın amacı, sınıf öğretmenleri tarafından ilkokul 4. sınıf öğrencileri için önerilen kitapların belirlenmesi ve bu konuda bir okuma listesi oluşturulmasıdır. Nitel araştırma olarak tasarlanan çalışmada olgu bilim deseni ile hazırlanmıştır. Veri toplama aracı olarak araştırmacı tarafından geliştirilen Kitap Öneri Formu kullanılmıştır. Milli Eğitim Bakanlığına bağlı devlet okullarında Sınıf Öğretmeni olarak görev yapan öğretmenler, çalışma grubu olarak belirlenmiştir. Türkiye'nin çeşitli illerinde görev yapan sınıf öğretmenlerine ilkokul 4. sınıf öğrencilerine önerdikleri 10 kitap ve yazarı ile bu kitapları önerme nedenleri sorulmuştur. Türkiye'nin çeşitli illerinde görev yapan 73 sınıf öğretmeni araştırmaya gönüllü olarak katılmıştır. Araştırmanın bulgularına göre öğretmenlerin kitap önerilerinde Türk ve dünya edebiyatından eserlere yer verdikleri, kitap önerirken de en fazla kitapların içeriğinden hareket ettikleri sonucuna ulaşılmıştır.
The aim of this research is to determine the books recommended by classroom teachers for 4th grade primary school students and to create a reading list on this subject. The study, designed as qualitative research, was prepared with a phenomenological design. The Book Recommendation Form developed by the researcher was used as the data collection tool. Teachers working as classroom teachers in state schools affiliated with the Ministry of National Education were determined as the study group. Class teachers working in various provinces of Turkey were asked about 10 books and their authors that they recommended to 4th grade primary school students and the reasons for recommending these books. 73 classroom teachers working in various provinces of Turkey participated in the study voluntarily. According to the findings of the research, it was concluded that teachers included works from Turkish and world literature in their book recommendations and that they mostly acted on the content of the books when recommending books.
