Özet

Elegy is one of the oldest forms of poetry in Arabic Literature. Arab poets often depicted dead peaple's features such as wisdom, justice, chastity, courage and generosity in their Works. They expressed their sorrow and condolence for dead in elegies. Some of the poets also wrote these elegies, which they once wrote for people, for animals.
