Özet
Bu araştırmada fiziksel egzersiz yapan ve yapmayan lise öğrencilerinin özgüvenleri ile ahlaki olgunluk düzeyleri arasındaki ilişkinin incelenmesi amaçlanmıştır. Araştırmada ayrıca lise öğrencilerinin özgüvenleri ve ahlaki olgunluk düzeylerinin onların cinsiyetine, sınıf düzeyine, lise türüne, akademik başarı durumlarına, anne eğitim düzeyine, baba eğitim düzeyine, aylık gelire, düzenli fiziksel egzersiz yapmaya, annenin düzenli fiziksel egzersiz yapmasına ve babanın düzenli fiziksel egzersiz yapmasına göre farklılaşıp farklılaşmadığı da incelenmiştir. Araştırmada nicel araştırma yöntemleri ve ilişkisel tarama modeli kullanılmıştır. Araştırmanın verileri Erzincan ilinde milli eğitim bakanlığına bağlı liselerde eğitim gören 435 lise öğrencisinden anket tekniğiyle toplanmıştır. Anket formunda kişisel bilgi formu, özgüven ölçeği ve ahlaki olgunluk ölçeği yer almıştır. Araştırmanın bulguları lise öğrencilerinin hem iç özgüven ve hem de dış özgüven düzeyleriyle ahlaki olgunluk düzeyleri arasında pozitif yönlü ve anlamlı ilişkiler olduğunu göstermiştir. Bulgular ayrıca lise öğrencilerinin özgüven düzeylerinin sınıf düzeyine, lise türüne, anne eğitim düzeyine, baba eğitim düzeyine ve gelir düzeyine göre farklılaşmadığını, ancak cinsiyete, akademik başarı durumuna, fiziksel egzersiz yapma durumuna, annenin fiziksel egzersiz yapma durumuna ve babanın fiziksel egzersiz yapma durumuna göre anlamlı biçimde farklılaştığını göstermiştir. Lise öğrencilerinin ahlaki olgunluk düzeylerinin sınıf düzeyine ve annenin ve babanın düzenli fiziksel egzersiz yapma durumuna göre anlamlı biçimde farklılaşmadığı, ancak cinsiyete, lise türüne, anne eğitim düzeyine, baba eğitim düzeyine, gelir düzeyine, akademik başarı durumuna ve düzenli fiziksel egzersiz yapma durumuna göre anlamlı biçimde farklılaştığı tespit edilmiştir.
This study aimed to examine the relationship between the self-confidence and moral maturity levels of high school students who do and do not do physical exercise. The study also found that high school students' self-confidence and moral maturity levels were affected by their gender, grade level, high school type, academic achievement, mother's education level, father's education level, monthly income, regular physical exercise, mother's regular physical exercise and father's regular physical exercise. It was also examined whether they differed or not. Quantitative research methods and relational screening model were used in the research. The data of the research were collected by survey technique from 435 high school students studying in high schools affiliated with the Ministry of National Education in Erzincan province. The survey form included a personal information form, self-confidence scale and moral maturity scale. The findings of the research showed that there are positive and significant relationships between high school students' internal self-confidence and external self-confidence levels and their moral maturity levels. The findings also show that the self-confidence levels of high school students do not differ according to class level, high school type, mother's education level, father's education level and income level, but there is a significant difference according to gender, academic success level, physical exercise status, mother's physical exercise status and father's physical exercise status. Showed that they differed significantly. It was found that the moral maturity levels of high school students do not differ significantly according to the grade level and the regular physical exercise status of the mother and father, but there is a significant difference according to gender, academic success level, physical exercise status, mother's physical exercise status and father's physical exercise status.
