Sosyal Bilgiler Dersi Çerçevesinde Ortaokul Öğrencilerinin Farklılıklara Saygı Düzeylerinin İncelenmesi

Özet
Bu çalışmanın amacı Sosyal Bilgiler dersi çerçevesinde ortaokul öğrencilerinin farklılıklara saygı durumlarını bazı değişkenler (cinsiyet, sınıf, anne eğitim durumu, baba eğitim durumu, aile ortalama gelir düzeyi) açısından incelemektir. Araştırma 2021-2022 eğitim öğretim bahar yarıyılında Ağrı ilinin Patnos ilçe sınırları içerisinde yer alan bir devlet ortaokulunun farklı sınıf düzeylerinde öğrenim gören 112 öğrenci ile gerçekleştirilmiştir. Araştırmada tarama modeli kullanılmıştır. Araştırmada veri toplama aracı olarak Öksüz ve Güven (2012) tarafından geliştirilen "Farklılıklara Saygı Ölçeği" kullanılmıştır. Araştırmadan elde edilen veriler SPSS 22. istatistik programı kullanılarak analiz edilmiştir. Çalışmadan elde edilen bulgular incelendiğinde ortaokul öğrencilerinin farklılıklara saygı durumlarının "cinsiyet, sınıf, anne eğitim durumu, baba eğitim durumu, aile ortalama gelir düzeyi" değişkenlerine göre istatistiksel açıdan anlamlı bir farklılaşmaya yol açmadığı görülmüştür. Bununla birlikte ortaokul öğrencilerinin farklılıklara saygı düzeylerinin genel ortalamasının düşük olduğu tespit edilmiştir.
The aim of this study is to examine secondary school students' respect for differences in terms of some variables (Gender, Class, Mother's Educational Status, Father's Educational Status, Family Average Income Level) within the framework of Social Studies course. The research was carried out with 112 students studying at different grade levels of a public secondary school located within the borders of Patnos district of Ağrı province in the 2021-2022 academic spring semester. Scanning model was used in the research. The "Respect for Differences Scale" developed by Öksüz and Güven (2012) was used as a data collection tool in the research. The data obtained from the research were analyzed using the SPSS 22 statistical program. When the findings obtained from the study were examined, it was seen that the secondary school students' respect for differences did not cause a statistically significant difference according to the variables of "Gender, Class, Mother Educational Status, Father Educational Status, Family Average Income Level". However, it was determined that the general average of the secondary school students' respect for differences level was low.
