dc.description.abstractThe aim of the study was to examine and compare the views of international students studying in Turkey and Turkish teacher candidates on human rights. Phenomenology design, one of the qualitative research designs, was adopted in the study. The study group consisted of 10 social studies teacher candidates studying at Yozgat Bozok University and 12 international students studying at TÖMER. In order to collect data, participants were provided to design posters and interviews were conducted with the participants. Descriptive analysis was performed on the data obtained. According to the results of the research, it was determined that the participants were of the opinion that many basic rights such as nutrition, property rights, right to work, prohibition of torture and ill-treatment, fair trial, right to vote and be elected, right to housing, right to travel, right to education are violated today. It was observed that the participants associated the main reasons for human rights violations with behaviors and value perceptions based on insufficient awareness of individual rights and responsibilities and value perception.
dc.description.abstractAraştırmada Türkiye'de öğrenim gören uluslararası öğrenciler ile Türk öğretmen adaylarının insan haklarına yönelik görüşlerinin incelenmesi ve karşılaştırılması amaçlanmıştır. Araştırmada nitel araştırma desenlerinden fenomenoloji (olgubilim) deseni benimsenmiştir. Çalışma grubunu Yozgat Bozok Üniversitesi'nde eğitim almakta olan 10 sosyal bilgiler öğretmen adayı ve Türkçe ve Yabancı Dil Araştırma ve Uygulama Merkezi'nde [TÖMER] eğitim almakta olan 12 uluslararası öğrenci oluşturmuştur. Veri toplamak üzere katılımcıların afiş tasarımı yapmaları sağlanmış, katılımcılarla görüşmeler gerçekleştirilmiştir. Elde edilen veriler üzerinde betimsel analiz yapılmıştır. Araştırma sonuçlarına göre katılımcıların günümüzde beslenme, mülkiyet hakkı, çalışma hakkı, işkence ve kötü muamele yasağı, adil yargılanma, seçme ve seçilme, barınma, seyahat, eğitim hakkı gibi temel pek çok hakkın ihlal edildiği görüşünde oldukları belirlenmiştir. Katılımcıların insan hakları ihlallerinin temel sebeplerini, bireysel hak ve sorumluluk bilincinin yetersizliğine dayalı davranışlar ve değer algısı ile ilişkilendirildikleri görülmüştür.
