Özet
Hicrî I. asırda Basra'da yaşayan Hafsa bint Sîrîn döneminin önemli hanım âlimlerinden biridir. Kaynaklarda hadis ilminin yanı sıra fıkıh ve tefsir ilmiyle ilgilendiği tespit edilen Hafsa bint Sîrîn, önde gelen sahâbe ve tâbiûndan hadis almış ve kendinden sonraki âlimlere aktarmıştır. Hadis münekkitlerince sika kabul edilen Hafsa hakkında herhangi bir cerh ifadesi bulunmamaktadır. Hafsa, fıkıh bilgisiyle temayüz eden ve Medine'den Basra'ya gelen Ümmü Atiyye el-Ensâriyye'nin önde gelen talebelerindendir. Ayrıca döneminin önemli âlimlerden olan İyâs b. Muâviye ve Hişâm b. Hassân kendisinden övgü ile bahsetmiştir. Bu sebeple Hafsa bint Sîrîn'in hadis ilmindeki konumunu ortaya koymak hem o dönemdeki kadın portresini görebilmek hem de bir hadis âlimin hayatının bilinmesi açısından önem arz etmektedir. Bu amaçla Hafsa bint Sîrîn'in hayatı, ailesi, sosyal ve ilmi kişiliği, cerh-ta'dîl durumu ve rivâyetleri iki bölümde ele alınmıştır. Rivâyetlerin tam metni, tercümesi, isnad şemaları yapılmış, rivâyetler konularına göre tablolarda gösterilmiştir.
