dc.description.abstractDefined by the World Bank as "the abuse of public authority for personal gain", corruption poses an important problem for many countries and has negative effects that spread to many different areas of the state and society. Scientists have not been indifferent to such an important problem, and many studies have been carried out in both domestic and foreign literature. Content analysis method based on document analysis was used in this study, which was carried out to create a general profile of postgraduate theses on corruption in Turkey. The theses included in the scope of the study were subjected to various classifications with the help of NVIVO 12 Package Program.The most important findings regarding the content of a total of 80 postgraduate theses obtained from the Higher Education Institutions Thesis Database on the subject are as follows; Although the distribution of theses by years varies, especially in recent years, more thesis studies have been carried out on the subject, the majority of theses are master's thesis, the theses are generally written in Turkish, the majority of theses are conducted at state universities and social sciences institutes, and the majority of theses are economics, finance, carried out within the departments of public administration.
dc.description.abstractDünya Bankası tarafından "kamu otoritesinin kişisel çıkar sağlamak amacıyla kötüye kullanılması" olarak tanımlanan yolsuzluk, birçok ülke için önemli bir sorun teşkil etmekte, devletin ve toplumun birçok farklı alanına yayılan olumsuz etkileri bulunmaktadır. Böylesine önemli bir soruna bilim insanları da kayıtsız kalmamış hem yerli hem yabancı literatürde konuya ilişkin birçok çalışma gerçekleştirilmiştir. Türkiye'de yolsuzluk konusunda yapılan lisansüstü tezlerin genel bir profilini çıkarmak amacıyla yapılan bu çalışmada doküman incelemesine dayalı içerik analizi yöntemi kullanılmıştır. Çalışma kapsamına alınan tezler NVIVO 12 Paket Programı yardımıyla çeşitli sınıflandırmalara tabi tutulmuştur. Konuyla ilgili YÖK'ün Tez Veri Tabanından ulaşılan toplam 80 lisansüstü tezin içeriğine ilişkin en önemli bulgular şunlardır; Tezlerin yıllara göre dağılımı farklılık gösterse de özellikle son yıllarda konuya ilişkin daha fazla tez çalışması gerçekleştirilmiştir, tezlerin çoğunluğu yüksek lisans tezidir, tezler genellikle Türkçe olarak yazılmıştır, tezlerin çoğunluğu devlet üniversitesi bünyesinde ve sosyal bilimler enstitülerinde çalışılmış ve iktisat, maliye, kamu yönetimi ana bilim dalları bünyesinde yürütülmüştür.
