dc.description.abstractThe aim of this study was to examine the relationship between secondary school students' value perceptions and environmental attitudes. The sample consisted of 475 secondary school students studying in Elazığ and Kahramanmaraş during the 2022-2023 academic year. In the study, a survey model was used to quantitatively analyze value perceptions and environmental attitudes, while a correlational survey model was applied to examine the relationship between these two variables. The "Environmental Education Attitude Scale" was used to investigate students' attitudes toward environmental education, and the "Values Scale for Secondary School Students" was utilized to measure their value perceptions. Results indicated that secondary school students had moderate levels of value perception and environmental attitudes. A significant difference was observed in value perceptions and environmental attitudes based on gender, and time spent on the internet but no significant difference was found in relation to grade level, or parents' education levels. In addition, a low-level, positive, and significant relationship was identified between secondary school students' value perceptions and environmental attitudes.
dc.description.abstractBu çalışmanın amacı, ortaokul öğrencilerinin değer algıları ile çevre tutumları arasındaki ilişkiyi belirlemektir. Çalışmanın örneklemini 2022-2023 eğitim öğretim yılı Elazığ ve Kahramanmaraş'ta öğrenim gören 475 ortaokul öğrencisi oluşturmaktadır. Çalışmada değer algıları ve çevre tutumları nicel araştırmalardan tarama yöntemi ile analiz edilirken, değer algıları ve çevre tutumları arasındaki ilişki için ilişkisel tarama modeli kullanılmıştır. Ortaokul öğrencilerinin çevre eğitimine yönelik tutumları için "Çevre Eğitimi Tutum Ölçeği", değerlerine yönelik algıların belirlenmesinde "Ortaokul Öğrencileri için Değerler Ölçeği" kullanılmıştır. Sonuçlar ortaokul öğrencilerinin değer algılarının ve çevreye yönelik tutumların orta düzeyde olduğunu göstermektedir. Ortaokul öğrencilerinin değer algılarında ve çevre tutumlarında cinsiyet ve internette geçirilen süre değişkenine göre anlamlı bir fark görülürken sınıf, anne ve baba eğitim durumu değişkenlerine göre anlamlı bir fark görülmemiştir. Ortaokul öğrencilerinin değer algıları ve çevre tutumları arasında düşük düzeyde, pozitif ve anlamlı bir ilişki olduğu görülmüştür.
