Özet
Çalışma hem Türk hem de Arap Müslüman toplulukları arasında dinler tarihi biliminin ortaya çıkışının yanı sıra, bu ülkelerde dinler tarihi biliminin gelişimini gözden geçirerek, din çalışmalarında en önemli araştırma yöntemlerini ortaya çıkarmayı amaçlamıştır. Bunu yaparken tüm ilim tahsili yapanların temel olarak İslami metotları ele alan daha kapsamlı bir çalışmaya ulaşması için Türk ve Arap ülkelerinde dinler tarihi ilminin doğuşu ile en önemli metot ve kaynaklarına değinilmiştir. Çalışmada Türk ve Arap ülkelerinin izlediği en önemli metotlarla ilgili temel verilerin toplanmasında tümevarımsal bir yöntem izlenmiş olmakla birlikte dinler hakkındaki çalışmaların ortaya çıkışının dönüşümlerini açıklamakta tarihsel yönteme başvurulmuş, Müslüman Türk ve Arapların yöntemleri arasındaki ortak ve farklı yönleri tahlil ederken analiz ve karşılaştırma metotları benimsenmiştir. Araştırmada elde ettiğimiz sonuçlara göre Müslüman Türk ve Arap alimlerin çeşitli mezhep ve dinleri konu edinen, çalışmanın hedefi veya türüne göre ve gösterilen farklılıklara dayalı net bilimsel adımları takip eden, yazımında ölçülü ve objektif yöntemlere dayandıkları pek çok eserleri bulunmaktadır. Ayrıca Müslüman Arap ve Türklerin yaşadıkları siyasi, sosyal ve medeni gelişmeler, diğer dinleri inceleme metotlarının oluşturulmasında önemli bir etkiye sahip olmuştur.
The aim of the study is to outline significance of research methodologies in religious studies by examining the development and emergence of history of religions studies between Turkish and Arab Muslims. To enable students studying history of religions to have access to a scientific and thorough study that primarily deals with Islamic methods. This study utilizes important resources on the methods and sources for history of religions in Turkey and Arab countries. It uses an inductive approach to gather fundamental information about significant methodologies used by Turkey and Arab nations. Furthermore, the historical approach is utilized to explain the changes that led to the emergence of studies on history of religions. Finally, analysis and comparison techniques were used to examine the similarities and differences between the methodologies used by Muslim communities in Turkey and Arab countries. Concluding, Muslim Turkish and Arab scholars have produced many works discussing various sects and religions that differ based on the aim or type of study. Meanwhile relying on measured and objective methods of writing that follow clear scientific steps. Additionally, political, social and civil developments within Muslim Arab and Turkish societies had a significant impact on the methods of studying other religions.
