SİYASAL PROPAGANDA ARACI OLARAK MÜZİK: 2023 SEÇİM ŞARKILARININ TEMATİK ANALİZİ

Özet
Seçim kampanyaları, siyasi partilerin seçmenle doğrudan iletişim kurabildikleri, toplumsal karşılık bulma amacıyla çeşitli stratejiler geliştirdikleri yoğun süreçlerdir. Bu çalışma, Türkiye'de 2023 yılında gerçekleştirilen milletvekili seçimlerinde TBMM'de temsil hakkı elde eden siyasi partilerin seçim kampanyalarında kullandıkları seçim müziklerini, nitel araştırma yöntemlerinden biri olan içerik analizi çerçevesinde incelemektedir. Çalışmanın amacı, seçim müziklerinin siyasal iletişim bağlamında nasıl işlev gördüğünü, partilerin seçmenle kurdukları ilişkiyi hangi duygusal ve ideolojik kodlar üzerinden nasıl inşa ettiklerini ortaya koymaktır. Bu yönüyle çalışma siyasal iletişim ve müzik sosyolojisi disiplinlerinin kesişim noktasında yer almakta; müziğin siyasal alan içindeki temsil gücüne dair derinlemesine bir bakış açısı sunmayı hedeflemektedir. Çalışma sonucunda elde edilen bulgulara göre, seçim kampanyaları sırasında kullanılan müzikler yalnızca propaganda aracı değil; ideolojik kimlik inşası, duygusal mobilizasyon ve toplumsal hafıza oluşturma işlevi görmektedir. Temalar arasında en çok vatan, umut, mücadele, birlik ve liderlik öne çıkarken; muhalefet partileri daha çok değişim ve umut temalarına, iktidar partileri ise istikrar ve liderlik vurgusuna odaklanmıştır.
Election campaigns represent critical periods during which political parties engage in direct communication with the electorate and employ strategic tools to secure public support. This study investigates the campaign songs used by the political parties represented in Türkiye's 2023 general elections. The objective of this study is to examine how these songs function as mechanisms of political communication, constructing emotional and ideological linkages between parties and voters. The findings of the present study demonstrate that campaign songs function not merely as instruments of propaganda but also contribute to the formation of ideological identity, emotional mobilisation, and the reinforcement of collective memory. The thematic elements that are prioritised in this text include homeland, unity, struggle, hope, and leadership. Moreover, while the political parties representing opposition concentrate on issues of transformation and optimism, those in power prioritise the maintenance of stability and the articulation of compelling leadership narratives.
